This route starts from Naoussa. After a 2 km ride on the main road, directing to Parikia, we turn right, and continue cycling by the coast till we get to the dirt road leading to the settlement of Kamares. The route runs through vines and canes, chapels and farmhouses. The land here is of the richest and most fertile lands of Paros, during winter and due to the rains the biggest part of the road becomes stream, During spring, blooming flowers take place, diffusing amazing scents in the air and making the landscape the most colorful. The Road makes a circular route which leads back to the promenade below the Mycenaean acropolis and the unique huge rock formations at "vigla" mountain. Our first stop is at the end of the road after Karnagio (boatyard), whence the paths start. At this point, between the coast and by the rocks lies St. John's Monastery which is of a miraculous architecture. the stroll starts here. the stone paths lead to hidden beaches with azure waters, slopes and rocks forming fantastic shapes. Βeyond the hill lies the white lighthouse, overlooking the big blue of the Aegean Sea. Most of the times Sailing boats fill the unique picture completely while the neighboring cycladic islands rise from the backround. Incredible sense of freedom and close contact with the natural surroundings. It is time for a small picnic before our way back. A few kilometers before the village of Naoussa at "kolibithres" beach you can have your lunch at a greek taverna or swim in the fresh clear blue water. There is no restriction on the returning time.
